Booking Information
Terms & Conditions
By booking a slot with Kurono, you agree to all our studio's terms and conditions.
- No-shows or lateness of 20 minutes or more will result in your deposit being forfeited. Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
- Appointments may be rescheduled up to 48 hours (2 days) in advance. In such cases, your deposit will be retained and transferred to the new slot. Reschedules made less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in your deposit being forfeited. 1 reschedule is allowed per deposit.
- Upon receiving the QR code, the deposit must be made within 15 minutes otherwise your slot will be forfeited.
- The remaining balance of your set will be collected at the end of your session. We accept exact cash, PayNow, and PayLah! only. Late payments and installments are not accepted.
- Kurono is not liable for any gel allergies or skin reactions. If you have experienced extreme itchiness from gel products or have a history of skin sensitivities such as contact dermatitis, please inform your artist prior to the session or during the online design consultation.
- We do not allow plus-ones or pets in the studio at the moment.
- While we do our best to meet your expectations, please understand that all designs are hand-drawn—minor differences from reference photos may occur.
- Kindly help us maintain a respectful environment. If at any point our artists feel unsafe or threatened, the appointment will be terminated immediately.
- Slots are strictly by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted and will be turned away. Please schedule your appointment through our booking page.
- I strictly do not do acrylic removals. Customers that show up without notice will be turned down.

After booking, send your inspiration photos or design references to @nailswithkuro via Instagram DM. - Place your deposit
A QR code for the $40 deposit will be sent to you. Your booking will only be confirmed after payment is made. Upon receiving the QR code, the deposit must be made within 15 minutes otherwise your slot will be forfeited.
Why is there a Non-Refundable Deposit ?
Deposits are required to protect our artists’ time and efforts. They help to prevent no-shows and ensure our artists are fairly compensated in cases where a last-minute cancellation or no-show results in an unfillable slot.

Can I bring a plus one?
Due to space constraints and to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for both our artists and clients, additional guests are not allowed in the studio for the time being!
*Exception: If you're booking a double session with a friend, you're welcome to attend the appointment together.

Parking slots are available in-front of the studio and near Telok Kurau Road, at the Bluecharge Charging Station.
P.S. Our studio is not wheelchair friendly - unfortunately our studio is located on the 3rd floor of shophouse and has no lift.

Artist Freestyle Lux
Includes extensions/overlay, unlimited colours, 3D designs, and custom charms and decals and sculpting subjected to availability. (For custom hand-painted decals and 3D sculpts, please send in your requests 7 days prior to the appointment)
Handmade charms or decals will be made prior to the appointment.

About the Design Tiers
Tier 1: Classic Art
Includes up to 3 colors. Design options include French tips, single-color chrome, cat-eye or solid colors. Comes with a dry manicure and full nail prep. Only available as an add-on—must be paired with either an overlay or Gel-X extension.

Tier 2: Simple Art
Includes up to 5 colors. Design options includes gems, blooming gel and chrome designs. Comes with a dry manicure and full nail prep. Only available as an add-on—must be paired with either an overlay or Gel-X extension.
Starting price at $50.
Tier 3: Advanced Art
Includes unlimited colors. Design options include more extensive chrome designs, 3D designs, gems and hand painted work. Comes with a dry manicure and full nail prep. Only available as an add-on—must be paired with either an overlay or Gel-X extension.
Starting Price at $75.
Tier 4: Intricate Art
Includes unlimited colors. Design options include intricate hand painted work, character designs and custom mood-boards. Comes with a dry manicure and full nail prep. Only available as an add-on—must be paired with either an overlay or Gel-X extension.
*For this design tier, please send in your designs/mood-boards at least 3 days before the appointment to ensure that we have enough time to plan and source for materials for the design.

Tier 5: Kurono's Signature Designs (Dm @nailswithkuro for availability before booking)
Includes unlimited colors. Design options include all of Kurono's classic mood-board designs and viral sets. Comes with a dry manicure and full nail prep. Only available as an add-on—must be paired with either an overlay or Gel-X extension.
*Please take note that these designs are extremely intricate and take up a lot of time. This tier is only offered on Fridays (5pm) and Saturdays (1pm).

About our Add-ons
Structured Gel Overlay/Builder Gel
A strengthening gel applied over your natural nails to add durability and structure without extensions. Perfect for those who want to grow out their natural nails while keeping them strong, smooth, and beautifully shaped.
Please note: Gel products are not advisable if you have extreme cases of onycholysis or deep cracks in the natural nail.

Korean Peel-off Base Gel
With up to 4+ weeks of retention, Korean peel-off bases are a great alternative for those who are uncomfortable with traditional gel removal methods (such as e-filing or soaking off). They can be paired with overlays or extensions. As a bonus, depending on the condition of your nails on the removal day, we may be able to turn them into press-ons free-of-charge (extensions only).
How it works: A remover liquid will be applied to your nails, allowing the gel to be “peeled off” with minimal damage to the natural nail.
Please note: Gel products are not advisable if you have extreme cases of onycholysis or deep cracks in the natural nail.

Aprés Gel-X Nail Extentions
A soft gel extension system that offers the length and shape of traditional nail enhancements with a lightweight, natural feel. Perfect for those who want instant length without the bulk of acrylics. The full-cover tips are adhered using soft gel and can be shaped and styled just like natural nails.
How it works: Pre-formed gel tips are applied over your natural nails using a soft gel adhesive, then cured under LED light. They’re soak-off friendly and offer a durable yet gentle alternative to hard gels or acrylics.
Please note: Gel products are not advisable if you have extreme cases of onycholysis or deep cracks in the natural nail.

Broken Nail Repair/ Infilling
For minor cracks and chips, the nail will be restored to its original shape using dual forms instead of full extensions. This ensures enough structure for the nail to grow out without chipping again.
For infills, gel will be used to fill in and reinforce the nail, providing strength similar to an overlay. Infills are only recommended depending on the grow-out of the extension and natural nail.

Our Aftercare
You'll have the option to finish your appointment off with a moisturising and nourishing application of Mani Mousse. It delivers all the benefits of cream and cuticle oil, with none of the mess or greasiness.
Ingredients: Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Niacinamide, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Decyl Glucoside, Allantoin, Gluconolactone, Calcium Gluconate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid.
