Booking Information

Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:

1. Deposits are non-refundable.
This deposit is required to prevent no-shows and to protect the artist’s time.

2. One reschedule is allowed per deposit.
Rescheduling must be done at least 3 days before the appointment date.

3. Late policy:
• 15 minutes late — $10 late fee
• 20 minutes late — deposit will be forfeited
• 30 minutes late — appointment will be cancelled

4. No plus-ones are allowed during appointments.

5. Please allow some room for artistic interpretation. If you require exact replication, please confirm the design with me before booking.

Rescheduling & Payments

Rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled up to 48 hours (2 days) in advance. The deposit will be retained and transferred to the new slot.
Reschedules made less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in the deposit being forfeited.
One reschedule is allowed per deposit only.
Deposits must be made within 30 minutes of booking, otherwise the slot will be released.

Payments
Accepted payment methods: Exact cash, PayNow, PayLah! or Paypal.

Why is there a Non-Refundable Deposit ?

Deposits are required to protect our artists’ time and efforts. They help to prevent no-shows and ensure our artists are fairly compensated in cases where a last-minute cancellation or no-show results in an unfillable slot.

Accessibility & Parking

Parking slots are available in-front of the studio and near Telok Kurau Road, at the Bluecharge Charging Station.

Our studio is not wheelchair friendly - it is located on the 3rd floor of shophouse and has no lift.

Standard Appointment Time Limit

Standard Appointment Times range from 2.5-5 hours depending on the intricacy of the designs. Intricate designs like my Instagram Press-on Nails cannot be done within a Standard Appointment as they can take up to 8 to 10+ hours to complete, unless you are willing to sit through those long sessions.

These intricate designs are reserved for individuals who are willing to sit through these long sessions and will ONLY be available upon request.

For those who are keen on more palatable and toned down designs please take note that reference designs need to be sent upon deposit. References are to be sent @nailswithkuro on Instagram!

Nail Extension with Aprés Full Tips

Includes up to 3 colors. For those who would like to have long nails without having to grow your nails out. Comes with a dry manicure and full nail prep.

What are Full Tips? Full nail tips, also known as full cover tips, are pre-shaped, full-coverage extensions made from soft gel that are glued or bonded with gel directly onto the entire natural nail plate to lengthen your nails.

Nail Extension with Half Tips (Recommended)

Includes up to 3 colors and an overlay. Recommended for XXL lengths. Comes with a dry manicure and full nail prep.

What are Half Tips? Half nail tips, also known as half-well tips or half-cover tips, are pre-shaped nail extensions that cover only the free edge and a portion of the natural nail plate. They blend into the natural nail to create a strong base for gel overlays, offering a natural appearance and extra strength without added bulk near the cuticle. *Recommended for longer nail lengths.

*Please take note that reference images must be sent at least 3 days before the appointment to ensure that there is enough time for decal preparation!

Broken Nail Repair/ Infilling

For minor cracks and chips, the nail will be restored to its original shape using dual forms instead of full extensions. This ensures enough structure for the nail to grow out without chipping again.

For infills, gel will be used to fill in and reinforce the nail, providing strength similar to an overlay. Infills are only recommended depending on the grow-out of the extension and natural nail.

Please note: Gel products are not advisable if you have extreme cases of onycholysis or deep cracks in the natural nail.

Korean Peel-off Base Gel

With up to 4+ weeks of retention, Korean peel-off bases are a great alternative for those who are uncomfortable with traditional gel removal methods (such as e-filing or soaking off). They can be paired with overlays or extensions. As a bonus, depending on the condition of your nails on the removal day, we may be able to turn them into press-ons free-of-charge (extensions only).

How it works: A remover liquid will be applied to your nails, allowing the gel to be “peeled off” with minimal damage to the natural nail.

Please note: Gel products are not advisable if you have extreme cases of onycholysis or deep cracks in the natural nail.
